How It Works

1. Inquire with your dates, headcount, and vibe.
2. Walkthrough (virtual or on-site) to align on spaces and flow.
3. Custom plan with your caterer/wedding planner; we coordinate on site use and timelines.

Spaces & Lodging

• The Inn: 6 private rooms, each with bath, AC, Wi-Fi, Smart TV, keyless entry
• Thurston House Residence: 4BR / 4.5BA private home (sleeps up to 10)
• Together: up to 10 rooms, 10 baths across the property
• Porches, parlor, dining room, and select outdoor nooks for small gatherings
• Nearby coastal backdrops for portraits and ceremonies

We’ll help match spaces to your headcount and flow. (Site diagrams on request.)

Included & Vendor-Friendly

• Included: venue access per timeline, host presence (Olivia or Hunter), on-site coordination of house/inn logistics
• You bring: licensed caterer/bar, planner or day-of coordinator, rentals (tents/tables/chairs), music
• We’re happy to collaborate with your vendors for a smooth experience

Ask us for local vendor intros; we’ll tailor to your style and season.

Seasonal Availability

Events are hosted primarily in the shoulder and off-season to keep the guest experience personal and unhurried.

• Edit this if you like: typically October–May (holiday periods by request)
• Summer dates considered case-by-case

House Guidelines

• Quiet hours: 10:00 PM (outdoor amplified sound ends by 9:30 PM)
• Alcohol: served by licensed/insured vendor; no self-service bars
• Insurance: COI naming venue as additional insured; refundable security deposit
• Safety: clear rain plan for outdoor moments; open flame by approval only
• Parking & shuttles: we’ll coordinate a plan that fits Ocracoke’s rhythm

Final approval and scheduling at our discretion in Year One.
